In both the Allison Transmission and Allison Off-Highway Drive and Motion Systems business units, our team strives to Improve the Way the World Works. /p /brpLearn more about this role and how you can begin driving your career forward! /p /brh3Position Summary /h3 /brpWe're looking for a Warranty Claim Analyst in Reggio Emilia Location. /p /brpManage transactional work by assessing and verifying administrative and technical information received from Customers/Service Centers to properly settle warranty claims ensuring conformance with Corporate policies and procedures. /p /brh3Main Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDetermine if the request from Customer is in line with applicable warranty terms and conditions (rates, parts used for repairs, labor times spent for service intervention, etc.). /li /brliSettle claims (approved or denied) in the warranty system, properly documenting results. /li /brliSupport the cost reduction of the warranty claims and field actions. /li /brliTrack and analyze warranty data for assigned customers to support global warranty reporting and forecast definition. /li /brliInterface with Customer Service Specialists and other functions to follow up and monitor problem resolution for open customer issues. /li /brliSupport periodic warranty and field actions reviews with cross functional teams and Management if and as requested. /li /brliProvide support in improving warranty processes and/or system in place if and as needed. /li /brliEnsure, for the area under his/her responsibility, the full application of the Health and Safety and Environmental procedures. /li /brliEnsure, for the area under his/her responsibility, the full application of the Quality System Procedures. /li /br /ul /brh3Job Position Requirements /h3 /brpEducation: High school - Minimum Technical degree/diploma in industrial, business disciplines. University bachelor's degree is a plus. /p /brh3Professional Background /h3 /brul /brli3 - 6 years minimum experience with warranty processes and exposure to industrial manufacturing processes and/or corporate atmosphere. Automotive business is preferred. /li /brliExperience with off highway products/components is preferred. /li /brliForeign languages (English is mandatory). /li /brliBasic knowledge of failure modes analysis methodologies (i.e. 8D discipline, etc.). RED X knowledge is a plus. /li /brliStrong computer skills (MSO Internet). Dana system is an advantage. /li /br /ul /brh3Considered as a Plus /h3 /brul /brliOther languages are a plus. /li /brliREDX knowledge is a plus. /li /brliStrong verbal and written communication skills (Face to face, Phone e-mail). /li /brliMust be self-starter and able to work towards department goals with minimal supervision. /li /brliTeamwork; able to work with people around even if not part of the usual/direct group of colleagues. /li /brliGood time management; able to plan a schedule and get things done even with unexpected occurrences in-between. /li /brliFlexible schedule.
