Define environmental prevention and protection measures to be adopted on the construction site and ensure transfer to Alstom staff and subcontractors. Work in compliance with the company safety and environmental measures and supervise their application in their area of competence as Safety Manager under current regulations. Under the supervision of the Construction Manager, manage reception and use of materials and equipment, implement operational provisions and project documents for executions. Coordinate and direct a team including foremen, workers and machine operators and issue necessary orders for installation works. Be responsible for the safety of the assigned team and be authorized to sign work permits (e.g., IE 605 de-energization forms). Know and autonomously interpret the main project documents. Supervise subcontractor activities, monitor physical and financial progress and compliance with EHS and quality provisions. Candidate Requirements Educational Requirements : Mechanical or electrical engineering degree, or a technical diploma with at least 5 years of experience in assistant or foreman roles. Desired Knowledge / Experience : Significant experience in production or similar roles for at least 5 years, preferably in metalworking companies. Knowledge of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001; knowledge of health and safety and environmental regulations. Completion of a course on traction electrical installation construction (LFM, Track). Behavioral Skills: Result orientation; goal-oriented work attitude; ability to work in a team; organizational and planning skills; problem solving and decision making; ability to motivate and influence others.
