For the Daikin internal service for prevention and well‑being at work in Ostend, we are looking for a m/f/x:
Safety Advisor level 2
You will be assigned to support the Well‑being and Safety department in developing and effectively implementing the necessary welfare policies that support the company’s overall strategy. You will be working in a team of 7 dedicated Safety advisors.
The internal prevention service will primarily monitor the proper functioning of the Well‑being policy and the compliance with the laws and regulations. Therefore, the prevention service assists and advises the employer and all employees in their daily work, with the focus om applying all existing measures of the Well‑being Act.
The tasks of the Safety advisors can be divided into three large groups:
Advising: on all matters of the law (risk analyses, annual plans, training, organization of workstations, fire procedures…)
Providing assistance: for example, identifying hazards, participating in analyses and investigations
Help realize and cooperate in emergency procedures, coordination of third parties, first aid, …
administration by making monthly and annual reports, formulate advice on the annual and global action plans, accident analyses, ….
Master or Bachelor degree or equivalent with genuine technical interests in Prevention, Safety & Well‑being at the workplaces.
For this position we are looking for a Safety Advisor level 2 with a background in the various well‑being domains.
He/she should act as a team player and bring relevant expertise in the communication with the members of the safety committee.
