Overall Job DescriptionThe Business Development Expert (mostly Secure Identity), will support the company’s development in secure identity technologies and applications. She/he will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective Go-To-Market strategy that drives sustainable financial growth in secure identity segment through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.The BDE is expected to develop effective relationships with clients and partners to encourage new and repeat business opportunities for the Secure Identity offering.Major Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and define customer needs.Actively participate with marketing and product management in the development and creation of Secure Identity products/programs/platforms; creation of demand and preference for Matica Group Secure Identity solution offerings and a broadening of group position in targeted accounts and channel partners through the sale and promotion of Secure Identity solutions.Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams and acquire familiarity with R&D and Global Services areas, and interact on a regular basis with: Customers (end users), Technology partners (ISVs, vendors – namely in the secure identity space), Commercial partners (distributors, resellers), Industry players (associations, media, analysts & consultants, etc.) in order to:Secure client commitment and revenue generation for Matica Group’s Secure Identity solutionsDefine and develop a growth strategy in Secure identity space focused both on financial gain and customer satisfactionGather useful information from customers and competitors to improve & fine-tune Matica’s secure identity solution offering to ensure rapid success in the market.Review current trends and propose new business ideas to improve revenue in the Secure Identity marketIdentify key commercial and/or technology partnerships to allow success in the identified markets.Develop and maintain relationships with the identified partner(s)Coordinate with current sales teams to develop targeted proposalsProduce and deliver presentations to prospective clients, partners, and internal executivesContribute to improving company visibility in the secure identity spaceOffer support to lead generation initiatives, campaigns, event participationBe available as a speaker or panellist for the company on security-related themesReport periodically on the status of business development activities.Analyze our reseller footprint on core business operations and suggest possible improvements by identifying and negotiating with potential new partners.Knowledge and SkillsGeneralGeneral knowledge of marketing strategies, mix, and tacticsEngagement skills with customers, commercial partners, technology partners, industry organizationsNegotiation and Sales skillsDemonstrable written and oral communication and presentation skillsGood communication skillsGeneral information technology concepts and computer skillsStrong work ethicCollaboration and relationship-building with multiple internal functionsMandatory fluency in English; preferred one or more Latin languagesSocial media activeExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesThe ability to work independently across multiple markets in Europe and channels, understand local differences and adapt to varying time zones and geographies will be required.Position-SpecificsUndergraduate degree in marketing and/or management and/or technical2-3 years of business development experience, preferably in SaaS businessBusiness Canvas Model or other Strategic Management tool knowledgeSolid security technologies background, namely in identity verification & authenticationBiometrics, Healthcare, Hospitality or Banking background preferredGeneral Technical hardware, software, and infrastructure knowledgeAnalytics and results measurement (SalesForce, BI, other dashboards)Business case and financial analysis (including ROI and IRR)The position will be based in Turin, Italy. 70% percent travel.About MaticaMatica is a global leader in secure ID issuance and financial card personalization solutions.
