Your role
Are you seeking a challenge that contributes directly to the realization of smart factories in manufacturing? As a Business Controller, your mission is to provide financial leadership and robust business control, enabling management to make data-driven decisions that foster sustainable, profitable, and inclusive growth. You will achieve this through timely financial insights, internal controls, compliance, risk management, and business development contributions.
You will be part of the Product Company Milan management team, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Main responsibilities include:
* Strategic Planning, Business Control & Risk Management
* Leading financial planning and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment
* Developing early-warning systems, variance analyses, and risk indicators
* Providing financial insights for business development, cost optimization, and resource allocation
* Identifying risks and opportunities, raising flags proactively
* Enhancing digital tools for automation and transparency
* Using BI dashboards and analytics to empower leadership
* Driving the “Zero Reporting” initiative through automation
Governance, Compliance & Internal Controls
* Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
* Maintaining compliance with group policies, legal, and statutory standards
* Safeguarding financial health via internal controls and audit readiness
* Supporting financial systems and tool improvements
Qualifications needed:
* Bachelor's or master's in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration
* 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in international manufacturing
* Proven leadership and team development skills
* Expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management
* Knowledge of Italian statutory accounting, tax laws, and compliance
* Advanced Excel skills, experience with SAP, Power BI or similar
* Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate across cultures
* High integrity, accuracy, and business acumen
* Fluent in English; Italian is a plus
