We are looking for a Site Manager in Piacenza. The candidate will lead operations at our Piacenza site, with full responsibility for performance, people, safety, and customer relationship.
What Will You Do
Warehouse management: organization and planning of daily activities in compliance with the customer's needs; control of flows, accounting data, and warehouse stocks related to IN, OUT, returns, and other materials activities.
Take full leadership, operational, and financial responsibility for managing a safe, efficient operational standard and profitable site for the organization and the customer(s).
Manage the change of mindset to Standardization and Continuous Improvement.
Manage and develop large operational teams (80–100 employees).
Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer.
Monitor the operation's span of control and build a strategy.
Lead by example to reinforce behaviors associated with our culture.
Manage providers of the site's general services such as security, infrastructure, maintenance.
Requirements
Master's degree in Engineering/Economic.
Solid experience in logistics/supply chain, preferably in industrial environments.
Several years of experience in a direct management team.
Proven track record in people leadership and union relations.
English fluent.
Leadership skills and capability of defining and deploying a strategic plan for the site.
Strong analytical skills: Lean Manufacturing (WCM, TPM, Six Sigma).
Team player with a positive mindset.
