IQM Selezione is recruiting a Finance & Accounting Lead for a rapidly growing multinational company based in Bologna.
The company, headquartered in India, is expanding its European operations and is looking for a motivated and autonomous professional to act as the local reference point for finance and accounting activities.
The selected candidate will work alongside an accountant and will be responsible for managing financial reporting, coordination with the commercial department, and all finance-related activities, including support to group consolidation processes, in collaboration with international colleagues.
Requirements
* Degree or diploma in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
* Good knowledge of Italian and international accounting standards (OIC and IFRS)
* Previous experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or similar roles
* Good command of Excel and accounting/ERP systems
* Residence near Bologna
* Excellent written and spoken English
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Management of monthly and annual closings and reporting to the parent company
* Preparation of statutory and management financial reports
* Support in the preparation of Italian and consolidated financial statements
* Treasury activities, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring
* Coordination with the commercial department on financial matters
* Support in VAT, tax compliance, and tax returns (with external advisors or independently, depending on seniority)
* Acting as main contact person for finance and accounting matters with international headquarters
Workplace:Bologna, Italy; occasional travel to group offices may be required
