Overview
Operations Manager at Arxax. Location: Hybrid, North Italy (Lombardy, Veneto, Trentino Alto-Adige). Employment Type: Full-time. Salary: €50,000-€60,000 (depending on experience).
Arxax is a cleantech startup building a smart refuelling and recharging network for the decarbonisation of road transport. We empower transport and logistics companies to make the green transition—seamlessly and affordably. Backed by institutional investors and European innovation bodies, Arxax is entering a critical growth phase in Italy and the DACH region.
Responsibilities
* Commercial & Partner Operations: Support execution of commercial contracts with fleet operators and fuel station partners. Assist in onboarding and integration processes with logistics clients and refuelling infrastructure. Monitor day-to-day performance of contracts and prepare regular reports.
* Internal Operations & Team Coordination: Coordinate internal workflows across sales, product, and technical teams. Maintain and optimise operating procedures and reporting systems. Monitor operational KPIs and flag issues to leadership.
* Compliance & Documentation: Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date for contracts, licensing, and insurance. Assist with operational reporting requirements related to projects and public grants.
* Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose improvements. Support implementation of new tools and systems to streamline operations.
Who We’re Looking For
* Must-Haves: 3–5 years of experience in operations, project management, or related functions. Strong organisational skills and comfort with KPIs, data, and reporting. Background in logistics, mobility, or energy sectors is a plus. Fluency in English and Italian (German is a strong advantage). Hands-on mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points
* Based in or willing to relocate to South Tyrol. Previous startup or scale-up experience. Familiarity with digital platforms, smart infrastructure, or clean mobility.
