The role involves tasks in the Engineering Department, based in Pistoia, Italy. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liSupport and coordinate during bid and project development of the driver's cabin technical design. /li liDefine conceptual solutions for Equipment Integration in the cabin. /li liPerform ergonomic assessments for train drivers. /li liPrepare system requirements specifications for mechanical systems. /li liAnalyze suppliers' technical proposals. /li liCreate and review technical descriptions of systems. /li liVerify drawings/documents (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) for installation and integration. /li liCheck FEM analysis reports. /li liConduct tolerance analysis for equipment integration. /li liPrepare and verify performance test specifications. /li liSupport system type and onboard integration tests. /li liParticipate in design reviews with clients and suppliers. /li /ul h3Required Skills / Knowledge /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering. /li liAt least 3 years of experience in railway or mechanical industry as a Vehicle Engineer or mechanical integrator. /li liExperience with driver’s cab design is preferred. /li liUnderstanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schemes. /li liExperience with bolted, riveted, and glued connections. /li liExperience with resin parts, FRP. /li liBasic electrical and mechanical knowledge. /li liProficiency with Word, Excel, and mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia). /li liKnowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations. /li liAbility to work effectively at all organizational levels and contribute constructively. /li liWillingness to undertake short-term national and international business trips. /li /ul h3Desired Skills / Knowledge /h3 ul liIndependent task management and team orientation. /li liBusiness requirements analysis and problem-solving skills. /li liAbility to interface with internal and external stakeholders. /li liStrong planning, organization, and business acumen. /li liGood communication and interpersonal skills. /li liAbility to work in an international, multicultural environment. /li /ul h3Education / Qualifications /h3 pDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. /p h3Languages /h3 pFluent in written and spoken English. /p pThank you for your interest.
