For one of our clients in the energy sector, we are looking for a Mechanical and Piping Supervisor.
Duration: 6 month to 1 year
Mission
Our client will manufacture few skids & cold box through a subcontractor workshop based in Italy. As a member of the client site team, the mechanical and piping prefabrication supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising all activities involved in the manufacturing of the skids & cold box.
He or she has 3 key functions: to apply technical expertise, supervise and expedite the workshop & expedite the inspections with the different internal & external inspectors / client representatives.
* Leads and guides construction subcontractors, focusing on safety, quality and planning
* Manages interfaces between disciplines on site and between subcontractors
* Demonstrates an interdisciplinary mindset, autonomy and honesty
* Demonstrates technical experience and leadership
* Coordinates with other site supervisors
Site Supervision
* Lead the safety on site
* Monitors the performance of subcontractors in his/her discipline for compliance with engineering/construction documentation and schedule
* Supervises and coordinates assigned personnel (including supplier representatives)
* Coordinates the activities of construction subcontractors through regular meetings, sets deadlines and decides on actions to be taken, takes minutes of meetings.
Skills
With a technical background, you ideally have at least 10 years' successful experience as a mechanical and piping Supervisor laying industrial equipment and piping.
