Technical Service Support: Job information: Reference number: JR-0017940 Job function: Service Position type: Full time Site: Parma Via Angelo Maria da Erba Edoari 29/A, 43123 Parma PR Your responsibilities and tasks: - Guarantees 2nd and 3rd level technical assistance towards the local Service organization - Provides technical support for installation and commissioning on complex systems to support the local GEA Service or to end customers where there is no GEA organization in place. - Provides guidelines, new operating standards and Service procedures to local Service teams to ensure the best possible technical service to end customers - Operates as the only entry point for technical claims and complaints, monitors requests for technical assistance and initiates corrective actions through tickets from CRM (C4C). - Proposes technical solutions to problems that emerged during the life cycle of the machines. - Performs feasibility studies to respond to requests for modifications and retrofits of the installed base. - Proposes, plans and performs technical training for those who work in the Service organization in collaboration with the GEA Learning Center. - Provides First level basic and advanced mechanical services for already installed machines in Italy and abroad Your profile and qualifications: - Basic knowledge of industrial electrical engineering is also appreciated. Instruction required: Secondary School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar Compulsory languages: English (written and spoken) - High technical and communication skills to interact with other departments (Technical Office, Spare Parts, etc.) - Knowledge of SAP tool is also appreciated. - Availability for travel (mainly abroad) with a duration up to 10 continuous days and for approximately 50% of the annual working hours.
