Job Title: IT Regional Support Engineer
Location: Cassolnovo, Italy
The Regional IT Engineer is the first point of contact for all local end-user IT questions. We are seeking an IT engineer with at least 3 years of experience to manage our company's computer systems.
As an IT engineer, your responsibilities will include designing hardware configurations, installing software, managing network systems, and training staff on proper operating procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Meeting with the IT manager to discuss system needs.
* Installing hardware configurations.
* Installing software and networking systems.
* Providing first and second level support and continuous improvement of IT services and end-user support.
* Installing high-level software security systems.
* Training staff on new hardware and software systems.
* Resolving hardware, software, and networking issues.
* Responding to general IT requests.
* Ensuring security software is up to date.
Personal Qualifications and Core Competencies:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
* Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.
* Familiarity with OS systems, enterprise applications, programming languages, and Office software.
* Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks.
* Good communication skills.
* Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
* Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
* A valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region.
* Understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and principles.
* Broad support knowledge of Microsoft products (Office 365, OneDrive, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Server 2012-2022, remote desktop, virtualization).
* Excellent hardware support skills (laptops, desktops, mobile phones, printers).
