Within this mission, the Internal Audit Manager leads the Internal Audit function, ensuring the adequacy, reliability, and effectiveness of the internal control system.
The role provides independent assurance, advisory support, and promotes a culture of compliance, risk awareness, and continuous improvement across the organization.
We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager with a strong background in internal auditing, risk management, and compliance to oversee and further develop the Internal Audit function.
Your mission
As Internal Audit Manager, reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for leading the Internal Audit function and ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls.
Key Responsibilities Include
Lead and independently assess the effectiveness, adequacy, and reliability of the internal control system, providing the Boards with a clear and objective view of key risks, control gaps, and mitigation actions.
Define, plan, and execute the internal audit plan, including ad-hoc and unannounced audits, ensuring robust follow-up on findings and transparent escalation of critical issues to governance bodies.
Evaluate organizational processes and information systems from a governance and risk perspective, issuing structured, evidence-based recommendations to strengthen controls and decision-making frameworks.
Uphold constant monitoring of compliance with laws, regulations, internal policies, and delegation of authorities, ensuring adherence to approved limits and proper accountability across the organization.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Supervisory Board, President, and senior management by delivering independent analyses, advisory opinions, and support on complex or sensitive matters.
Ensure high-quality, timely reporting to the Boards on audit outcomes, risk trends, and control effectiveness, while promoting a strong culture of internal control and compliance through communication and training initiatives.

Essential
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 7 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related roles
Strong expertise in internal control frameworks, auditing methodologies, and regulatory compliance
Preferred
Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or equivalent
Experience in interacting with Supervisory Boards or senior governance bodies
Organizational And Social Skills
Ability to operate with a high level of independence, integrity, and professional judgment, ensuring credibility and trust in interactions with Supervisory Bodies, governing authorities, and senior management.
Strong capability to communicate complex audit, risk, and compliance matters in a clear, structured, and evidence-based manner, tailored to institutional and public-sector governance contexts.
Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective coordination across functions while preserving audit autonomy and supporting transparency and accountability.

Salary:
up to 80k - depending on candidate's seniority
