Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 70000 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.For our Savigliano site in Italy we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Project Planner.Purpose of the JobResponsible to develop and maintain the project schedule in order to manage efficiently the time commitments of the project (tender, contract or program).Performance MeasurementIn tender:On-time delivery of all tender deliverables requested to fulfill RFP requirementsOn time delivery of schedule analysis for decisions by the Tender Team: critical path, compliance with tender strategy related to contractual milestones, planning risks, mitigation plan and list of ambitionsTo prepare engineering schedule with métiers managers and pre-project team with Bid technical Manager hypothesisIn RD and Project:To update and consolidate engineering scheduleTo ensure consistency with overall project scheduleTo survey blocking pointsTo propose solutions in order to respect the committed scheduleIn contract or program:Baseline approved (internally and by the Customer) and managedRegular and consistent scheduling updates, with potential delays analysis and actions plans proposed to the project teamOn time delivery of KPIs (OTD, documentation, Gate Reviews GO on time, sales, cash, …)ResponsibilitiesIn tender:Analyse the schedule management requirements of the Customer (contractual tool, schedule structure, reporting constraints,…)Define tender preparation schedule and monitor until the submission of the tenderDetail the tender schedule based on Reference Library templates, gap analysis, Metiers commitments, and PSO, PDO PIO tender strategyHighlight the critical path and risks linked to the schedule and propose the optimisation mitigation actionsPropose a strategy as regard to the compliance with the contractual requirementsParticipate to the definition of the schedule interfaces with the partners and the CustomerDeliver on time all schedule deliverables down to the requested levelEstimate the cost of Scheduling management effortIn contract or program:Define and maintain the Project Time Management Plan, with respect and as a complement to any Project Time Management Plans of higher rank, and Project Management PlanIn case of a multi-Unit project, the lead Unit PrPM co-ordinates the project scheduling community (meetings, MoM…)Detail and update the project schedule based on the contractual targets and data provided by all stakeholdersPropose the project baselineEnsure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders commitments, and manages the schedules interfacesOrganise and lead periodic Project Schedule SessionsParticipate to project core team meetings (and/or Schedule management meeting of higher rank)Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baselineFocus on early identification of potential delaysPrepare schedule and progress reports for Customer or Lead Unit or PartnersProvide support to Project Manager on all issues related to projects scheduleFor Reference Library, develop and maintain the schedule templatesKnowledge ExperienceProject management and industrial backgroundsGood overall knowledge of railway products and systems is a plusGood Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker as they work with a large networkConflict management and multi-taskingBe able to challenge project team and highly proactive in proposing solutionsAbility to juggle with schedules and changing project goalsAble to think critically and using good judgment.An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
