The Role & What You Will Be Doing
The Controlling Support will support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial performance tracking, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes across the company.
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Controlling Support role will make an impact with the following responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of budget plans, forecasts, and rolling forecasts.
Help collect, organize, and analyze financial and operational data.
Produce periodic reports on financial performance, budget variances, trends, and KPIs.
Contribute to the standardization and automation of reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP systems).
Support continuous improvement projects within the FP&A and Finance teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations) to gather and validate assumptions and business data.
Perform ad hoc tasks assigned and lead key projects where appropriate
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, or similar fields.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Familiarity with PowerPoint and presentation tools.
Basic understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, and financial statements.
Familiarity with Power BI, SAP, Tableau, or other BI/ERP tools would be a plu.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Solid analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a structured environment.
Languages: fluent in Italian; good level of English (B2 or above), especially for reading and reporting.
