We are hiring a Buyer for our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO).
You will report to the Commodity Manager in Procurement and manage a specific material group, such as Exteriors, Interiors, Electrical/Electronic, or Powertrain commodities.
As part of the Procurement Department, you will play a key role in achieving company goals by delivering innovative technical solutions on time, with excellent quality and cost efficiency. You will organize supply chains, collaborate within Lamborghini and the VW Group, and work on current and upcoming vehicle projects.
We seek proactive individuals who are committed to excellence and innovation, contributing ideas and turning concepts into actionable projects to satisfy our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading price negotiations and award decisions via a global Bidder’s List
* Driving cost-saving initiatives, including supplier visits
* Identifying and scouting for new suppliers and innovations, focusing on economics and sustainability
* Analyzing market trends to develop acquisition strategies
* Participating in VW Group Commodity Meetings to align procurement strategies
* Engaging early in projects to select optimal technologies
* Utilizing the latest e-procurement tools
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams
About you
* Degree in Engineering
* 4-5 years of procurement experience
* Experience in the automotive sector is a plus
* Fluent in English and Italian; German skills are a plus
* Strong negotiation skills
* Ability to manage complex supply chains
* Target-oriented with analytical skills
