We are looking for a senior Solution Architect to help Alten Italy strengthen its positioning in Telco transformation programs, with a specific focus on OSS and adjacent operational / digital platforms.

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to drive the definition of a structured and credible offering, enabling Alten to:
Position itself as a strategic partner
in the decision-making processes of leading telecom operators.
Compete effectively
on critical opportunities by transforming today’s fragmented Telco ICT landscape into integrated, innovative solutions.
Build a distinctive value proposition
for digital transformation, directly impacting efficiency, agility, and service delivery.
This is a
high-visibility role, ideal for professionals who want to play a key part in shaping Alten’s Telco transformation capabilities in Italy.
Key Responsibilities
Shape innovative approaches
for OSS and adjacent platform transformation/modernization.
Translate client needs
into transformation roadmaps, target operating models, and high-level solution concepts.
Lead technical articulation
during pre-sales, bid management, and strategic opportunity development.
Collaborate with Business Managers
and commercial stakeholders to deepen client relationships and qualify opportunities.
Engage key stakeholders
(CTOs, OSS leaders, operations, and transformation teams) to identify pain points and propose value-driven solutions.
Contribute to Alten’s OSS positioning, enhancing technical and commercial credibility.
3. Critical Sales Support
Actively participate
in proposal writing, risk assessment, pricing logic, and client presentations.
Serve as a senior reference
for OSS/transformation topics within the Business Unit, fostering internal capability growth.
Technical Requirements
8+ years
in Telco OSS, service assurance, fault management, service fulfillment, inventory, orchestration, or adjacent IT architecture domains.
Deep understanding
of telecom operator operating models and technology landscapes.
Proven expertise in one or more areas:
OSS simplification/modernization
Service orchestration/workflow redesign
Legacy system transformation/migration
Process digitization in Telco environments
Key Skills
Ability to define solution roadmaps, transformation approaches, and high-level architectural options.
Experience in pre-sales, bidding, solution consulting, or transformation programs.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills (both IT and operational).
Business acumen to connect OSS topics to efficiency, agility, and service delivery outcomes.
Fluent English (mandatory); Italian is a plus.
Nice-to-have
Experience with major OSS/ vendors or integrators
Knowledge of TM Forum frameworks or similar industry standards
Exposure to Agile / DevOps / API-led transformation in Telco IT
Previous experience with Italian or European telecom operators
