Job Overview
We are seeking an exceptional and experienced MYP/DP Master Teacher of Mathematics from August 2026 to join our school and drive excellence in teaching and learning. The Master Teacher will deliver high‑quality lessons, develop the Mathematics curriculum, mentor teachers, and elevate standards across the department. The role is also part of a special scholarship programme dedicated exclusively to talents in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Design Technology.
Qualifications / Key Responsibilities
* A minimum of 7 years of recent and relevant experience in a world‑class international school.
* A relevant Master's degree and teacher qualification (e.g., Mathematics or a related field from an accredited, state‑approved programme) is an advantage.
* Experience in reputable or top‑tier international schools and a track record of measurable student success across key stages.
* Outstanding student outcomes and academic success.
* Expertise in curriculum development, assessment, and data‑driven instruction, with proven ability to plan and deliver innovative inquiry‑based lessons that engage students and address their diverse learning needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents effectively.
* Right to work in Italy (EU passport or valid Italian work VISA) will be highly regarded.
* Experience preparing students for international competitions in Robotics, Mathematics, Physics, and Science (e.g., World Robot Olympiad, International Mathematical Olympiad, International Physics Olympiad, International Junior Science Olympiad).
* Relevant teaching experience within the subject area(s), preferably in an IB school (MYP and/or DP).
* Proven ability to use digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning.
* Fluent English: reading, speaking, writing (level C1–C2).
* Immaculate police check(s).
