Position Overview
Space Industries S.p.A. is looking for an experienced IT System Specialist to join its IT team.
The role focuses on the administration on-premises, virtualized, and cloud-based infrastructures, within a security and compliance-driven environment (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2).
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring system security, operational continuity, working closely with internal stakeholders and security functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Secure configuration, hardening, and maintenance of Windows, Linux, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments, in line with industry security standards
* Creation, editing and maintenance of access and access groups, and Azure Active Directory federation
* Infrastructure monitoring, support, and maintenance
* Data protection activities aligned with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2, including audit support and security documentation
* Backup management and supporting Infrastructure as Code practices
* Continuous security improvement, threat monitoring, proactive risk reduction, and participation in security awareness initiatives
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
· years of experience as a System Specialist / IT Infrastructure Engineer
· Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
· Experience with virtualized and cloud environments
· Background in IT security, system hardening, and compliance
· Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, IAM, SSO, and MFA
· Fluent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
· Driving license and own vehicle
