Position: Human Resources Business Partner - Italy
Within Italy's "Services" HR organization and reporting to Services HR Italy, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for:
Understanding and prioritizing business needs and translating them into HR actions.
Managing major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, contributing to the overall strategy.
Serving as HR Business Partner for the assigned population across multiple sites.
Managing HR processes within the HR department as required.
Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Exercising good judgment and decision-making to maintain positive labor-management relations.
Investigating employee relations issues and recommending appropriate actions.
Ensuring full compliance with ALSTOM EHS policies.
Coaching managers in people management practices.
Managing HR programs to support long-term strategic business objectives.
Monitoring and administering performance management programs and corrective actions.
Ensuring adherence to HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Participating in workforce planning and recruitment activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources as an HR Specialist or HR Manager.
Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
Handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Knowledge of national and local employment contracts.
Flexible, open-minded, fair, and with balanced judgment.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Resilient, capable of delivering under pressure and making quick decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Economics, or related fields.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 60%).
Proficiency in HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Location and Travel:
The candidate may be based at one of our main sites (Sesto San Giovanni-MI, Nola-NA, Rome, Savigliano-CN) and should be available to travel up to 60% of the time.
