For our own projects, we are looking for aAumenti le sue possibilità di ottenere un colloquio leggendo la seguente panoramica di questo ruolo prima di candidarsi.Senior Inspection Method EngineerLocation: Basilicata, Italy\nIndustry: Oil & Gas\nContract Duration: 12 months\nStart Date: April 2026\nWorking Schedule: 8 hours per day / 5 days per weekMISSION\nThe Senior Inspection Method Engineer will be responsible for optimizing inspection methodologies and ensuring the integrity management of equipment and facilities within an Oil & Gas operational environment.\nThe role involves coordinating inspection activities, managing inspection programs through digital inspection management systems, and ensuring compliance with international standards and Italian regulatory requirements while supporting plant reliability and operational safety.TASKS\nOptimize inspection philosophy in accordance with company standards and applicable legislation.\nUpdate inspection plans within the Inspection Data Management System (IDMS) based on plant modifications, new scopes, and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) outcomes.\nSupport data collection activities for RBI studies and follow up the execution for plant facilities and flowlines.\nAdjust inspection programs and inspection plans based on RBI outputs.\nCollect inspection data and support preparation of monthly inspection reports.\nSupport corrosion management activities and assist in evaluating major corrosion threats affecting plant assets.\nDevelop Written Schemes of Examination in accordance with company and international standards.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary support for inspection activities and participate in operational planning meetings.\nFacilitate coordination between authorities and internal teams for inspection-related activities.\nMonitor contractor performance and quality of inspection works carried out on site.\nSupport daily activities related to general inspection service contracts.\nEnsure the accuracy and quality of inspection data, reporting, and KPI feedback.\nValidate inspection reports and manage anomalies through CMMS/SAP notifications.\nEnsure all inspection activities comply with HSE standards and Italian regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in weekly and daily inspection coordination meetings.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCCE\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in inspection engineering or inspection methods.\nAt least 5 years of experience within the Oil & Gas sector.\nFluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.\nStrong teamwork and coordination abilities\nAnalytical mindset with strong reporting and database management capabilities\nAbility to work in multidisciplinary operational environments\nCertifications (Preferred)\nISO 9712 – NDT Certification\nAPI 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspector\nAPI 570 – Piping Inspector\nAPI 653 – Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector\nTechnical Knowledge\nUNI EN 16991:2018\nItalian regulations including D.Lgs 81/08 and DM 239/04\nInspection standards for pressure vessels, piping systems, and storage tanks.\nExperience with inspection data management systems and reporting tools. xpavfwmProfile Middle East upholds workplace equality and diversity, assessing candidates solely on merit and potential.
