Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and assistance to our users, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Taking ownership of problems and incidents, identifying the root cause, and working with various global teams to resolve them;
* Assisting with installation, configuration, and administration of laptop and desktop hardware, including re-imaging and laptop replacements;
* Monitoring and reporting issues to the teams or personnel responsible following the ITIL incident and problem management model;
* Providing expert advice on core technologies, including NetDocuments document management system, Microsoft Office products especially Outlook, Word, and Teams;
* Coordinating reprographics work with external suppliers and document services;
* Escalating security issues to the information security team where appropriate.
Technical Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office;
* Desktop support experience with excellent communication skills;
* Knowledge of NetDocuments, iManage, or similar document management systems;
* Experience supporting iPhones, including use of MDM solutions such as InTune;
* Law firm experience;
* Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCP, MOS;
* Degree-level education;
* Experience with Dell hardware;
* Knowledge of ServiceNow or other call logging systems;
* Experience supporting printers and MFDs.
Additional Requirements
You will also need to demonstrate:
* Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level);
* Ability to communicate clearly without confusing jargon;
* Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and write technical documentation;
* Flexibility to work flexible hours, travel occasionally, and participate in an on-call rota system when required.
Contract Details
This is a permanent employment contract with a salary range of €35,000–40,000 + benefits + bonus (based on achievement of targets). The work location is Milan, with occasional travel to Rome (1–2 days every two months).
