As Repair & Industrialization Product Leader you will support new repair development, working closely with GE Aerospace & AAJV teams as well as other suppliers to identify, build the business case for and execute new repair development to drive product cost out, improved turnaround time and other key outcomes for the Aero Alliance and its customers.
Responsibilities
Driving Repair Development Strategy for Baker Hughes for aeroderivative product lines
Supporting creation and execution of Repair Multi‐Generational Product Plan (MGPP) and New Product Development (NPD) for MRO expansion and Level 5 Component Repairs
Managing full business cases for repairs, including Engineering, P&E and any other related capital or operational expense investment to develop new repairs, for existing fleet and new products
Supporting visibility for total Repair Entitlement by Platform (LM2500, LM6000, LMS100, LM9000) working closely with Platform Leaders
Partnering with Operations team to expand shop capabilities (insourcing, new vendors)
Enhance repair development awareness within Baker Hughes network, including closely monitoring Repair yields, repetitive DRs, top purchased spare parts and other KPIs
Partnering with Cost‐Out Team exploring potential cost‐out projects coming from ideas generated during AWO & sharing sessions with cross‐functional teams, while getting Finance's validation of Business cases involved
Defining key processes to implement Aeroderivative documentation (new Repair documents, new Part Numbers, Departure Records management) within Baker Hughes systems
Fostering implementation of new processes collaborating with quality and DT teams
Identifying opportunities for improved Turn Around Time for Level 5 repairs across Supply chain of Aeroderivative technology and working cross‐functionally to develop and drive action plans
Understanding and driving partnership for improvement for GEA L5 Shops performance through recurrent reviews
Ensuring timely execution of repair development related programmes and activities
Driving strong operating rigor on execution and process improvement within Baker Hughes for new Repair Document creation, new part number creation, Departure Records management
Working in close partnership between Engineering and Operations to execute repairs (Qualifications, development)
Facilitating alternative Repair Vendor(s) scouting, collaborating with Sourcing and Industrialization teams
Boosting Repair value defining most beneficial repair strategy in the Americas Region
To be successful in this role you will
Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, business or related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5‐7 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering or other relevant technical functions
Demonstrable competence in Aeroderivative gas turbine technology
Demonstrable competence in service business and repair world

Proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic business environment
Owner's mindset and proactive action and communication
Experience that demonstrates deep technical knowledge and understanding of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines is an advantage
Self‐directed with demonstrated leadership and problem‐solving skills
Displays good interpersonal skills, and able to communicate well with internal and external customers
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification
Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives
PC proficiency
Understands business objectives and drives specific tasks required to meet the objectives
Understands products, capabilities and limitations in sufficient detail to be able to develop offerings that meet customer needs
Communicates the business vision effectively in an open and consistent manner
Encourages input from all members of the team
