GLO Marine specializes in EPC services for vessel retrofits, conversions, offshore mobilizations, and complex vessel interventions. We seek a Drydock Superintendent with experience in ship management and drydock operations to strengthen our project delivery team.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Superintendent / Drydock Manager to manage multiple drydock projects for offshore support vessels, representing GLO Marine in planning, coordinating, and supervising these projects to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate all stages of drydock projects.
* Act as technical representative for clients during drydock execution.
* Coordinate with shipyards, subcontractors, and classification societies.
* Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Prepare progress reports and updates.
* Resolve technical issues during projects.
* Conduct pre-docking inspections and supervise during dry-docking.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 5+ years of experience as Technical Superintendent, Vessel Manager, or similar role.
* Proven experience managing drydock projects for offshore support vessels.
* Strong technical knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance, and repairs.
* Experience working in shipyard environments and with cross-functional teams.
* Understanding of surveyor processes and classification society requirements.
* Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk assessment.
* Experience with dry-docking specifications.
