Based in Vittorio Veneto (TV), she/he will support the continuous operations of the MES platform and IT systems related to the productions plants. She/he will drive MES/IT change and improvement projects, collaborating with external vendors, consultants and the Company’s international IT team.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Drive the operational support to MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and related IT systems
- Manage knowledge and documentation around IT production systems and processes
- Support IT related tasks on production processes (changes, incidents, monitoring, projects, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement to IT systems configurations and related processes
**Tasks and Duties**:
- System administration of the associated databases and IT infrastructure (changes, incidents, monitoring and security)
- Manage and supervise all SW systems related to shop floor production, assuring performance, timely updates, solve incidents, improve security
- Support improvements and solve incidents to production processes, as related to SW, network, data interfaces and data repositories
- Drive and coordinate activities involving external support specialists, vendors and system integration consultants
**Professional background and experience**:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer science
- Solid experience in IT system administration (IT production and automation systems, servers, networks, PCs, user and field devices)
- Preferably industrial production and automation systems background
- Experience or exposure to production processes, production systems integration and communication
- Experience with field control and automation SW
**General Requirements**:
- Fluent in English both written and spoken. Any other language would be an advantage (e.g. German)
- Team-player with good communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, proactive and dynamic person, providing high quality contributions with a customer service focus
- Willingness to learn and share within the team
- Available to support the production sites on-call outside the standard working hours
