OverviewAs a Sourcing Manager your mission is to lead the Sourcing function by building strong supplier partnerships, optimizing cost and quality, and aligning procurement strategies with the company's growth objectives. The Sourcing Manager is a key driver of organizational transformation, enabling a proactive, data-driven, and cross-functional procurement approach. The role also fosters collaboration among companies within the Business Area, promoting best practice sharing, strategic alignment, and supplier synergies.The Sourcing Manager plays a pivotal role in consolidating and developing the strategic sourcing approach introduced by the new organizational structure. Leveraging their previous experiences in procurement, the Sourcing Manager focuses on enhancing supplier strategy, optimizing cost and quality, and ensuring that sourcing decisions are aligned with production, R&D, and supply chain objectives. The role also includes active collaboration with Sourcing Managers from other companies within the same Business Area in order to share insights, identifying opportunities for joint supplier development, process harmonization and sourcing synergies.You will report to Operations Manager.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and production requirements.Select, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness.Lead cost optimization initiatives through value engineering, design-to-cost, and total cost of ownership analysis.Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure procurement supports product development and operational efficiency.Monitor supplier performance and manage risks to ensure continuity of supply.Promote digitalization and data-driven decision-making in procurement processes.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including sustainability standards.Support the development and mentoring of procurement team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.Actively participate in quarterly sourcing meetings across the Business Area to share best practices, align on strategic initiatives, and explore supplier synergies.Coordinate with sourcing managers from other companies within the Business Area to benchmark performance, harmonize approaches, and identify joint opportunities for improvement.QualificationsTo succeed, you will need:Degree in Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 in strategic sourcing roles in manufacturing companies.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supplier development, and cost analysis.Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.Experience with ERP, PLM systems and digital procurement tools.Fluent in Italian and English; other languages are a plus.Experience in multi-company or Business Area-level coordination is a strong asset.OfferCulture of trust and accountabilityLifelong learning and career growthInnovation powered by peopleDiversity & InclusionPerformance driven organizationInternational environmentInternal MobilityLocationHybridThis role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Product Company in Paderno Dugnano (MI) Italy.Contact informationTalent Acquisition Team: Pamela AtzeniUniting curious mindsBehind every innovative solution, there are people working together to transform the future.
