Purpose of the job
The Project Industrialization Engineer is responsible to industrialize the maintenance, renovation/modernisation or warranty activity at the Depot, Repair Centre or Production site(s) in order to secure the production deliverables.
Responsibilities
* Analyze the requirements described in the maintenance plan.
* Draft and validate process documentation (Standard Operation Sheet).
* Identify necessary tools and materials, from the definition of technical specifications to field validation.
* Organize the layout (facilities, workstations, flow of materials/people, number of operators, civil works).
* Validate, with the project team, the optimal strategy to implement to maximize the saturation of production resources.
* Organize all maintenance activities in line with Alstom standard requirements (sequence of activities, cycle time, delivery times, packaging, workstation ergonomics, skills, EHS constraints and Quality requirements).
* Document management on SAP Railsys (task list, materials list, tools list).
* Validate the defined processes on the field with the operations team.
* Manage suppliers for the creation of the main equipment.
* Analyze and identify actions aimed at improving project performance.
* Respect assigned budget.
* Develop business cases to evaluate investment plans and implement Make or Buy strategies.

Requirements
* At least 2 to 5 years’ experience preferably in the railway industry, ideally in an international organization.
* Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings.
* Technical experience of Methods Engineering, writing, and improving manufacturing and/or maintenance work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing.
* Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up.
* Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems.
* Proven ability to innovate and manage change.
* Excellent teamwork skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
* Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
* Desire to learn and grow completing the profile.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
