As a Material Planning Leader, you will be in charge of the Supply Chain department. /ppLocation: Savigliano (Italy) /ph3Role Overview /h3pYou will report to the Material Planning Manager and work in a collaborative environment with hundreds of colleagues across Supply Chain, Procurement and Supplier Quality. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliEstablishing and coordinating appropriate action plans in the event of a major crisis. /liliCollaborating with Material Planning and Procurement for supplier selection, escalation and delivery improvements by preventing crises and enhancing supplier delivery performance. /liliEnsuring suppliers can meet Alstom's needs regarding technical capability and capacity vs. workload. /liliConducting audits to ensure compliance with processes and tools defined by the Central Supply Chain team, including Light and Capacity Assessment, Reporting on SharePoint and appropriated Dashboard. /liliFacilitating root cause analyses and implementing sustainable corrective actions (Improvement and Safeguarding Plans). /liliStrengthening cooperation between various functions (Purchasing, Quality, Supply Chain) to manage the least performing suppliers (TOP RED and RED). /li /ulh3About You /h3ulliDegree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field. /liliDemonstrated experience in supplier relationship management (in Procurement, Supply Chain or Quality). /liliStrong leadership, rigor, responsiveness, analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliLanguage skills: Fluent in Italian with a good level of English (B2). /liliWillingness to travel (50%). /liliKnowledge of an ERP system (ideally SAP). /li /ulpIt would be a plus if you have: /pulliUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, ability to perform a Value Stream Map). /liliProven track record in conducting supplier assessment independently. /liliGreen Belt certification or similar. /liliFrench speaker. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliOpportunity to lead in an innovative and supportive environment. /liliProfessional development and growth opportunities. /liliA competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits. /li /ulpYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
