Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldPassion for IT infrastructure, networking, and system administrationBasic understanding of Windows & Linux operating systemsFamiliarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, routing, firewalls)Some experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plusGood communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken)Eligibility for security clearance (or willingness to obtain it)
During the internship, you will work alongside experienced System Administrators, gaining practical experience in the IT infrastructure supporting the Galileo satellite navigation system.IT Infrastructure & System AdministrationAssisting in the installation and configuration of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and cryptographic systemsHelping with the integration and testing of new software and hardware releasesAssisting with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasksSupporting anomaly investigations, change control, and system migrationsLearning best practices in high-availability IT environments for space applications
