We’re thrilled to be bringing our fresh dog food to Italy! Butternut Box is looking for a creative, highly motivated, and results-oriented Brand Manager to help shape our brand as a key member of the Italian founding and leadership team.
Overview
In this role you will develop and execute brand marketing initiatives to grow awareness sustainably. You will report directly to the Country Manager (Italy) with a dotted line to our Global Head of Brand.
Responsibilities
* Build brand awareness from the ground up for Butternut Box Italy, communicating the power of fresh dog food.
* Execute high‑impact campaigns that spark conversations and build “brand love” in the Italian market.
* Innovate locally by pushing boundaries and creating truly impactful campaigns tailored to Italian consumers.
* Connect with dogs and owners, fostering community and brand enthusiasm.
* Strategic brand marketing and execution: develop initiatives aligned with our central brand positioning while being locally relevant.
* Campaign management: lead projects from ideation to execution, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and consumer advocacy.
* Growth advocacy: generate creative ideas supporting ambitious growth objectives, and report on brand performance via regular tracking and experiments.
* Brand communications: execute messaging that reflects Butternut’s tone, values, and visual style.
* Localisation of tone of voice and unique offer for the Italian audience.
* PR & outreach: manage external communications, inbound opportunities, and secure coverage in relevant outlets.
Qualifications
* 4+ years in brand management with a proven track record of growing brands (bonus for DTC experience).
* Operational excellence: strong budgeting, calendar, and timeline management.
* Relationship building: collaborate across teams and functions, both internally and externally.
* Bias for action: a highly creative and non‑traditional thinker who makes things happen.
* Strong communication: articulate vision, inspire teammates and customers, with great copywriting skills.
* Tech savvy: fluent in G‑Suite and comfortable with Adobe Suite.
* Love of dogs: genuine passion for improving canine health and wellbeing.
