Experteer Overview As Tax Reporting Manager for the SEA region, you own end-to-end tax reporting and coordinate packs across entities, ensuring timely, compliant submissions to Group Tax and Group Finance. You'll drive process improvements, data quality, and governance across the close cycle while partnering with local teams, external auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders. Your work supports IAS 12 accounting, with exposure to US GAAP/ASC 740 where needed, in a dynamic multinational environment. This role offers visibility across markets, a focus on standardization, and opportunities to shape tax reporting processes.
Responsibilities Own the SEA tax reporting calendar for quarterly and annual close
Prepare/review current and deferred tax numbers per IAS 12; support US GAAP/ASC 740 where required
Coordinate inputs from local finance teams and external advisors ensuring data quality and documentation
Prepare ETR bridge commentary, disclosures, and reconciliations for stakeholders
Support statutory accounts/tax disclosures with external auditors and local teams
Maintain/improve tax reporting processes, templates, controls, and automation where possible
Partner with Finance, Treasury, FP&A, and Business on tax reporting impacts (reorgs, M&A, new products, system changes)
Qualifications 6–8 years of tax experience in Big 4 or in-house within a multinational setting
Experience in tax accounting/reporting and close processes; stakeholder management
Knowledge of income tax accounting under IAS 12; familiarity with US GAAP/ASC 740 a plus
Experience across current tax, deferred tax, ETR analytics, disclosures (hands-on, review, or advisory)
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to interpret complex tax issues
Strong execution and planning mindset; ability to manage multiple workstreams/countries to deadlines
Excellent written and verbal English; ability to translate technical topics for non-tax audiences
