JOB SUMMARY The Senior Mechanical/Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and technically coordinating mechanical and electrical systems for complex projects.

They ensure consistency between different disciplines and work closely with clients, suppliers, and external partners.

They coordinate internal resources and actively contribute to defining technical solutions, ensuring deadlines, budget, and quality standards are met.
\n
They act as a key reference point for the project team and Project Manager during both development and technical review phases.
\n
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
\n
- Develop and coordinate the project across all phases
- Supervise the discipline team (junior and intermediate engineers)
- Ensure coordination between systems and other disciplines (architecture, structures, sustainability, etc.)
- Attend coordination meetings with clients and partners
- Review and approve technical documents (drawings, reports, cost estimates, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with regulations, company standards, and deadlines
- Manage scope of work, budget hours, and internal planning
- Identify additional work and support the Project Manager in evaluation
- Work with suppliers on equipment selection and technical specifications
- Support preparation of technical proposals and presentations
- Coordinate external designers and ensure alignment with company standards
- Support the professional growth of junior staff through mentoring
- Stay updated on regulations, technologies, and industry best practices
PROJECT PHASE RESPONSIBILITIES\n
- Setup Phase

- Prepare design plans and activity schedules
- Organize and lead technical coordination meetings
- Define and coordinate external consultants' scope of work
2. Preliminary Design\n
- Prepare technical reports and define design criteria (based on client and regulations)
- Develop initial system diagrams
- Perform preliminary sizing of technical rooms and systems
- Define requirements (access, ventilation, etc.)
- Estimate costs and create initial planning structure
3. Detailed Design\n
- Prepare technical and calculation reports
- Update technical specifications
- Perform system calculations and sizing
- Provide required information to other disciplines
- Finalize system layouts and technical spaces
- Prepare cost estimates
4. Construction Phase\n
- Approve construction drawings and equipment data sheets
- Inspect installations on site and report findings
- Lead technical meetings
- Perform testing and quality checks
- Carry out functional and performance verification
TECHNICAL SKILLS\n
- Strong knowledge of technical regulations (UNI, CEI, DM 37/08, safety laws, fire regulations)
- Proficiency in design and engineering software
- Knowledge of cost estimation tools
