Together with our clients, we’re helping to deliver the energy transition globally. /p h3Overview Of The Role /h3 pThe Energy Transition team within our Energy unit is looking for a Project Manager to lead our technical advisory projects in a growing portfolio, supporting our clients in the UK and across Europe as part of the energy transition. As well as contributing to these new and existing projects, this position will play an active role in improving our project management processes and approach, driving both delivery excellence and efficiency in our business. /p h3Key Responsibilities And Duties Include /h3 ul liDelivering project scope to time quality and cost /li liBuilding and managing strong relationships with senior client representatives as well as internal stakeholders /li liEstablishing effective communications across the whole project delivery team /li liTaking the lead on problem solving and decision making /li liControlling internal and external commercial aspects of the project under the contract arrangements /li liManaging risk to the business and to the client /li liWork effectively on several projects concurrently to deliver to tight deadlines /li /ul pIt is expected that you will be able to demonstrate the following: /p ul liProven success in the delivery of thermal energy projects (such as OCGT and CCGT projects) working for a consultancy, designer, a contractor, or major industry client /li liManaging thermal energy advisory assignments including but not limited to lenders due diligence, acquisition due diligence and vendors due diligence of development, construction and operational thermal energy projects /li liUndertake technical reviews of engineering design documentation prepared by third parties and report on findings lead and coordinate the preparation of technical reports and specifications/ employer’s requirements to a high-quality standard while maintaining schedule and budget /li liLead and manage tender preparation and negotiation for Owner’s Engineer projects /li liManage interfaces between the main contractors /li liMonitor contractors’ progress against programme and key milestones, and support clients in successfully resolving contractor claims /li liManage and actively identify all critical risks, issues and impacts of the project, specifically the adequate application of and adherence to both statutory and corporate health, safety and environmental requirements /li liExperience in contract administration /li liKnowledge and experience in approaches to change management, risk management, schedule and cost management, along with all other aspects of project management /li liAbility to make complex decisions, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to, accepting responsibility for own actions /li liCreates a work environment which promotes health, safety, and wellbeing /li /ul pThis role will provide an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in a highly supportive and collaborative environment across the Energy sector and provide exposure to some exciting energy transition projects that will protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions.
