Manages the NB projects for commissioning department from contract review to handover assuring that all the gates for project execution are valid to step forward. What we offer: Principal Accountabilities: - To be the reference of the project and to verified that all the gates are OK to move commissioning activities forward - To organize and manage the NB projects maintaining Dematic image as a top quality, professional company, by adopting an honest, professional and attentive approach. - To maintain good relationships with all internal and external customers, through provision of a high quality service - To participate at the contract review and design review meeting for each NB project - To plan and allocate the relevant resources from IS team for each IS project - To follow the PE process to assure; opening of quality gates, equipment delivery dates, project documentation delivery, detail on-site activity plan, manage and participate if necessary to the on-site activities, project handover - To produce required Health and Safety documentation including, but not limited to Method Statements and Risk Assessments - To manage the open issue process - To participate at the lessons learnt meeting - To handover the project to the customer service department - To maintain relationship with customer until to the handover - To co-ordinate and ensure consistent approach across a project for HW and SW design - To take responsibility for controls budgetary and time restraints on projects - To co-ordinate commissioning on site and to provide support to system commissioning activities. - To liaise with Project Engineers during project phase. - To liaise with Project Managers, Customer and sub-contractors during order execution phase. - To liaise with purchase departments. - To provide technical information to any department so entitled, i.e. Mechanical Design, Projects Sales, Service, Spares. - To maintain and use wherever possible, standard product information for the execution of orders. - Where necessary to develop special and new standard solutions to suit specific IS projects. - To innovate wherever possible to improve our delivered product to the end customer (e.g. reduced price, reduced time-scale, improved functionality). - To guarantee and manage technical backup - To maintain and improve upon personal skills related to the position, through experience and training. - To comply with the company policy as defined in the Staff Handbook, Safety Manual, and Quality Assurance Manual - Other duties as assigned. Tasks and Qualifications: Knowledge & Experience Required: - Essential: At least 3/4 years experience in sortation system. Knowledge on electrical and SW design - Desirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline. - Experience in a similar role is desirable
