Key accountabilities
* Analyse software requirements to plan appropriate tests
* Plan tests, defining scenarios, parameters and acceptance criteria for software validation
* Write and execute Tests
* Highlight any software defects
* Collaborate with developers to analyse problems and direct resolution
* Coordinate, maintain and evolve automatic test batteries and test automation methods, increasing requirements coverage
* Collaborate in analysing and addressing Incidents
Must-Have Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering
* At least 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on financial or trading applications
* Proven expertise of test methodologies, both for manual and automated testing
* Knowledge of test management tools such as X-Ray
* Ability to design and implement comprehensive test plans and complex test cases
* Proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium, Cypress)
* Ability to collaborate with other teams (DEV,AM,TAM) to analyze/solve end-to-end problems
* In-depth understanding of trade lifecycle and financial markets
* Proactive mindset toward continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
* Excellent communication and relationship skills with teams and external stakeholders
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, proactivity and autonomy within the team
* Excellent knowledge of the English language
Nice-to-Have Skills / Qualifications / Experience
* Understanding of FIX protocol and real-time financial messaging systems
* Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for enhanced automation
* Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Atlassian suite)
* Experience with performance testing tools for NFT (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
* Experience using cloud test farms offered by AWS
* Internationally recognized software quality/testing certification (e.g. ISTQB);
* SQL know-how for data validation
* Hands-on experience with trading platforms, Order Management Systems (OMS), or market data feeds
