JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
Key Activities :
- Perform engineering design, calculations and conceptual layouts of a variety of material handling systems. Specify equipment and consult with vendors and client on project needs and deliverables;
- Understand basics of mechanical systems and processes for various types of handling systems, specially the basics of pneumatic applications;
- Cooperatein Design system layouts and determine operational requirements so that a detailed system flow can be generated. Perform all required calculations to validate system throughput and workability;
- Determineand select material handling packages from the point of view of compliance with technological, technical, contractual and economic requirements;
- Follow the supply development, keeping the necessary technical contacts with the Vendors and accepting the final reports;
Personal Skills and Attributes :
- High School Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Discipline
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Excellentverbal and written communication skills;
- Good knowledge of English language;
- Open-minded;
- Adaptability skills;
- Effectiveteam player;
- Willingness to take initiative.
