Main Responsibilities:Preparation of bidder lists and management of vendor pre‐qualificationOrganize and manage competitive tenders, including RFQs, bid clarifications, and evaluations, leveraging also e-Procurement SystemLead commercial and contractual negotiations of Purchase OrdersEnsure back‐to‐back alignment between Supply Agreements (Main Contracts with Clients) and Purchase Orders terms and conditions, when necessaryPerform Economical Bid Evaluation and propose awardingCooperate with Project Teams in highlighting main reasons of eventual extrabudgets and proposing mitigation actionsSecure compliance with internal procedures and protocolsSupport and cooperate with the Project Procurement Manager / Coordinatorduring the development of the supplies in case of any commercial problem withVendors (such as claims, change order request, Liquidated Damages discussion,etc.)
Required Skills:Minimum 5 years of Purchasing experienceExperience in operating in international challenging environmentExperience in-end-to end tender management (RFx Process). E-procurementsystems knowledge is a plus.Design experience in engineering departments is a plusExperience in prepare and execute negotiation with suppliers both on costs andcontracts Terms & ConditionsSAP knowledge for supplies managementExperience in contract preparation and negotiationAbility to interface and manage internal stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple prioritiesProblem solving skills and ability to resolve conflicting situationsStrong written and verbal communication skills in the English languageTeam player with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationshipsGood computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications and SAPAvailability to travel for short period in Italy and abroad.
