We are currently recruiting for a Tax Administrator to join our dynamic and highly proactive VAT Compliance team. The candidates must be self-starters, strongly motivated, and clear communicators at all levels. The successful individual needs to demonstrate their ability to work independently and proactively in our practice, above all, client-focused.
Responsibilities
Calculate and file European VAT returns in a detailed and timely manner, ensuring the highest accuracy is maintained.
Communicate with tax offices regarding clients’ accounts and obligations.
Liaise with tax authorities on VAT issues.
Manage VAT administrative duties and paperwork.
Respond to VAT queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
Stay up to date with VAT law and changes in VAT legislation.
Provide excellent customer service to build trust, rapport, and strong relationships with your portfolio.
Participate in ad hoc projects as they arise.
Qualifications
Confident and with excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement.
Excellent verbal and written skills in Italian and English.
Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Capable of working well in a small team as well as independently.
Excellent multi-tasking ability.
Desirable
Experience working in VAT/Accountancy/Finance department.
