For our Display Graphics Customer Experience Centre in Bergamo, Italy, we are looking for two Applications Specialists to manage the demonstrations of our VUTEk digital printing machines and showing to customers the peak performance of our machines. By collecting all the details to create a successful demonstration, understanding the needs of the customer and set the best strategy, you will contribute in turning a demonstration into a signed deal. Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Fulfils Inkjet sample requests in accordance with job ticket instruction - Accommodates all demonstrations; resolves customer inquiries and special request - Escalates all equipment-related issues (defects, mechanical problems, etc) through proper channels and tracks resolution status - Serve as site ambassador to all internal/external stakeholders - Performs daily housekeeping duties as set forth by department standards Job Requirements: - BA/BS in Design/Graphic Arts or Professional background in a similar area. - Experience with traditional pre-flighting processes and software - Proficiency in PC and MAC environment - Fluent in English and any other European language would be a plus: German or French - Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, managing multiple projects - Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to independently analyse alternative solutions and prioritize quickly within tight deadlines - Strong initiative and customer service focus - Ability and willingness to travel, both domestic and international for tradeshow or exhibitions. - Education and Experience Requirements - Professional background or at least Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts - Printing industry experience (analogue and/or digital) is a must. - Windows XP, NT and networking experience are required. - Familiar with colour management techniques - Ability to interface with people/sales is important. - Demonstrated strong commitment to customer satisfaction - Experience in delivering training is an asset. - Good communication skills, team-player - Fluent in English. Any other European language would be a plus. - Flexible for traveling within EMEA occasionally for tradeshows.
