* Position Overview

We are recruiting a local HR expert in Italy. The primary responsibilities include maintaining client employee relationships, handling employee onboarding, transfers, relocations, and offboarding, verifying payroll calculations, and providing daily HR consulting and client relationship support.

* Key Responsibilities
* Act as our in-house HR expert for Italy and Europe, managing all complex people-related matters throughout the employee lifecycle.
* Own and drive employee lifecycle management : onboarding, transfers, relocations, and offboarding, ensuring compliance with local laws.
* Verify payroll calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Provide daily HR consulting to clients, maintain strong client relationships, and resolve cross-border employment issues.
* Administrative support : generate reports, issue employment verification letters, and maintain HRIS records.
* Daily Tasks
* Employee onboarding support : assisting with preparation of documents, system input, contract signing, and initial training arrangements.
* Day-to-day personnel change management : handling employee transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and relocations.
* Payroll management support : collecting, verifying, and reviewing monthly payroll change data.
* Payroll audit : coordinating with payroll vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Employee relations : addressing employee inquiries, complaints, and labor disputes.
* Onboarding and offboarding processes : ensuring all statutory requirements are fulfilled.
* Administration and document management : maintaining HR files such as employment verification letters and social security documents.
* Labor law tracking : keeping up-to-date with changes in Italian and European labor regulations.
* Project support and process optimization : participating in HR process improvements, SOP writing, and SLA refinement.
* Vendor communication and management : liaising with external service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Client support : maintaining regular communication with clients to understand and fulfill their HR needs.
* Cross-border support (where applicable) : assisting with HR matters in other European countries if needed.
* Requirements
* Extensive experience in international HR operations, preferably in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with Italian labor law and broader European labor regulations.
* Fluency in Italian and English; proficiency in additional European languages (e.g., German, Spanish) is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills to identify, scope, and resolve complex and sensitive HR matters.
* Data-driven mindset : challenges the status quo and constantly improves response times and employee experience.
* Interview Process
* Preliminary Screening : HR communication.
* First-round Interview : Video interview with the department head to assess professional capabilities and cultural fit.
* Second-round Interview : Video interview with the company's CEO for a deep dive into the position and career development.
