Electronics Hardware Engineer

We are looking to recruit an Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team.
This is a tempo pieno position based at our company headquarters in Modena, Italy.
Role
The Electronics Hardware Engineer will work in one or more teams dedicated to the development of a specific product.
The team will be usually composed of a product manager, mechanical, hardware electronics, firmware and software developers.
Responsibilities
Design electronic hardware and ensure complies with specifications.
Perform printed circuit board (PCB) layout and ensure it is accurate.
Debug and validate electronics in cooperation with mechanical, firmware and software developers of the team
Provide Hardware Electronic engineering support as required.
Create, maintain and update production and manufacturing documentation (e.g. Bill Of material)
Assist the production and testing team in diagnosing manufacturing issues
Ensure components, processes and products are designed for manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure product compliance with electromagnetic regulatory requirements
Tasks/Activities
Design hardware electronics using EDA Software
Debug and validate electronics design with instrumentation such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter
Perform EMC measurements and debugging
Perform audio measurements using dedicated audio measurements instrumentation
Research and validate electronic components
Optimize Bill of materials
Perform hardware design review
Participate in product meetings, and provide regular updates on development progress

The candidate will work at IK Multimedia Production headquarters, in the hardware department offices.
Required Skills
Schematics and multilayer PCB layout design for mixed signal high quality audio device
Analog stages
Digital stages design, MCU and peripherals, controls, displays etc
Audio ADC and DAC stages
Experience in working with recent leading ARM MCU platforms like STM, NXP etc
Experience in switch power supplies and audio power amplifiers is welcome
Experience in working in team with other engineers and mechanical designers
Experience with EMC (electrical safety is a welcome plus) with related debugging and optimization
Basic knowledge of FW structures and C/C++ programming, stronger experience is welcome
