We were meant to fly. /ph3Job Description /h3pAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and implement manufacturing processes to achieve high volumes production of complex aircraft engine components. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to achieve your goals, collaborating with your peers to create processes that meet drawing requirements, have high yield, minimize risk of deviation/scrap and meet required production rates. /ph3Essential Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign and validate manufacturing router and documentation according to company procedures and customer requirements /liliProvide manufacturing method development and improvement for current and new products /liliApply Design for Manufacturing principles working with a cross functional team to ensure 6‑sigma process capability and stable process /liliWork with manufacturing engineering peers and manufacturing shop personnel to validate processes, tools, equipment /liliDesign and validate fixtures, tooling and equipment for production and new product development /liliCoordinate with outside vendors that may be contracted to build production equipments and/or farm‑out machining operations /liliDetermine safe manufacturing processes that produce a quality product in the most efficient method of production /liliPursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated areas /liliAssist supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective actions /liliAccountable for attaining all aspects of production operations, including safety, quality, First Time Yield and productivity /liliPrevious experience as Manufacturing Engineer. /li /ulh3Qualifications/Requirements /h3ulliBachelor’s Degree in Engineering /liliGood knowledge in the interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes /liliFluent in English and Italian /liliEU work permit /li /ulh3Desired Characteristics /h3ulliSix Sigma training is preferred /liliSelf‑starter and clear thinker. /liliGood knowledge of cutting technologies /liliGood knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) system /liliHumility, Transparency and Focus behaviors /liliInclusiveness and ability to effectively work in team /liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills /liliAbility to make data driven decisions, cause‑effect analysis and utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools /li /ulh3Smart working and work life‑balance /h3pAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work‑life balance.
