Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Branch General Manager to lead and expand our operations in Shanghai, driving business growth and strengthening our presence in the Chinese market.This is a full-time position based in Shanghai.The selected candidate will be responsible for:- Leading and managing the local branch, ensuring operational and commercial excellence- Defining and executing strategic business plans aligned with corporate objectives- Driving sales growth and expanding market share in China- Managing key customer relationships and developing new business opportunities- Overseeing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring- Coordinating with headquarters and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and performance- Representing the company in the local market, fostering strong relationships with partners and stakeholdersQualifications & Requirements- Proven experience in a senior management or branch leadership role- Strong background in business development, sales strategy, and market expansion- Mandatory experience in the power transmission sector (e.G., gearboxes or related technologies)- Solid understanding of the Chinese industrial market and business culture- Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese is considered a strong asset- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze KPIs, budgets, and profit & loss statements- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills- Results-driven mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and international environment
