Key job responsibilities
As a Frontend Engineer and UX/UI designer, you are proficient in developing and deploying user interfaces with integrations to backend services.
You will work alongside scientists and application developers to develop novel solutions for real-world problems. You will interface with customers to understand their vision, capture their pain points, and collect general requirements for their applications.
You will also work independently with the customer to iterate on the design and functions of user interfaces and provide deep and meaningful designs of experiences for all application users. Additionally, you will support development of the user interface, including writing custom scripts to build interfaces and integrate with backend components.
As part of a larger team, you will support testing of the application and presentations of the application to broader audiences.
This is a customer-facing role, so you will interact directly with customers to understand their business problems and help them define user experiences for their applications.
Bonus: Experience building infrastructure to host and serve applications at scale.
