We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Events Intern to join our Events Department for a 6-month period, starting in April/May. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring event professional to gain hands-on experience in planning, executing, and evaluating a variety of events. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced events team and contribute to the successful delivery of our event portfolio. Main Duties: Assist in the planning and coordination of various events, with a significant emphasis on weddings, and other celebratory gatherings. Provide on-site support during wedding days and other events, ensuring smooth execution, managing vendor arrivals, and addressing any immediate needs. Assist with post-event activities, such as feedback collection, thank-you notes, and final reporting. Perform administrative tasks as required to support the Events Department. Requirements Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach to clients; Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, often under time pressure; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn and adapt; Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
