The Role We are seeking an outstanding Secondary IB English Teacher to join our growing secondary school in September 2025. You should have recent experience teaching English to Middle and High School students in MYP and/or iGCSE, as well as IB Diploma level. We value candidates who are passionate about international education, creative in their thinking, and collaborative in their approach. The successful candidate will also be adaptable, motivated by challenges, and an excellent, highly organized classroom practitioner. ICS Milan is a highly successful international school in Milan for children aged 2-18 and is part of the Globeducate school group. The school adopts a STEAM approach to learning, integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to foster student inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity. It emphasizes project-based learning, hands-on experiences, and the development of fundamental motor and analytical skills necessary for problem solving. We offer a stimulating learning journey through a well-structured curriculum. In Early Years, we follow The British Early Years Foundation Stage. In Primary, we follow The Cambridge Primary Programme for English and Maths, and The IPC - International Primary Curriculum for topic-based subjects such as science, social studies, geography, history, art, and international mindedness. We are currently exploring the PYP to complement our IB MYP programme in Years 7-11 and the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13 (currently a candidacy school with a view to starting the Diploma in September 2023). As a Paritaria school, we incorporate national curriculum recommendations established by the Italian Ministry of Education for our Italian language and culture programme. All primary students learn Italian, either as a first or second language, and integrating Italian culture is a key strength of our school.
