For our Client, Fintech start-up Company, we are looking for a:
CORPORATE DEBT & GRANT FINANCING MANAGER
Main Tasks
Working with the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer to determine the optimal debt structure for the company and provide advice on debt financing strategies;
Identifying and securing domestic and European financing opportunities and programs, including bank loans, convertible bonds, mini bonds, venture debt, grants and assignment of credits (e.G., VAT, Patent Box, etc.)
Developing financial models to assess the impact of debt financing
Structuring of debt agreements with financial institutions, credit transfers, participation in calls for tenders for non-repayable and subsidized financing and compilation of information material
Supporting the CFO in negotiating commercial terms within a term sheet
Managing existing debt obligations, including repayment schedules and interest payments
Requirements for the role
Minimum three years previous full time experience (post internships) spent in the Debt & Capital Advisory services at a Big4 (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC)
Outstanding academic track record from a finance or accounting Master’s degree program at a top European University
Experience with financial modelling and analysis
Knowledge of debt instruments and financial regulation
Quantitative skills and the ability to analyze data and come up with conclusive results
Great written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English (full proficiency)
Excellent command of the Google Workspace and Microsoft Office;
Data analysis languages (R, Python, Tableau) are a plus
Attitude to organise successful meetings and manage relationships
Highly motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise important tasks over other
