The Director of Educator Programs will lead the implementation of all aspects of Champions For Learning’s Educator Programs. The Director of Educator Programs is responsible for the strategic planning, development, implementation, management and evaluation of a robust portfolio of programs that provide educators with the support and resources to experience professional success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead the planning and execution of all Educator Programs, ensuring consistency, equity, and impact across initiatives. Develop and manage a comprehensive annual plan that aligns with organizational goals and includes quarterly planning, engagement, evaluation, and capacity building.
* Work closely with Collier County Public Schools leadership teams, school leaders, and internal teams to align program timelines and priorities with school calendars, instructional goals, and broader district initiatives.
* Set annual targets for volunteer needs related to educator programs. Partner with the Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and support volunteers for grant review committees, Golden Apple selection, and event logistics.
* Manage all aspects of the Classroom Grants program from promoting available funding, overseeing grant review committees, distributing funds, coordinating grant delivery event, and ensuring timely and complete outcome reporting. Maintain a focus on equitable access and alignment with school-level needs.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of the Golden Apple program, including school outreach, teacher nomination, application/presentation/site visit coordination, committee review, recipient selection, and coordination of surprise recognition of Golden Apple recipients. Maintain strong communication and support for both educators and volunteers throughout the process.
* Serve as the primary lead for additional educator-facing initiatives:
o FPL STEM Peer Learning Grant: Coordinate with CCPS science and math content specialists to identify participating teachers, manage observation schedules, monitor implementation, and submit final reports to the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations.
* Art for Democracy: Collaborate with the Supervisor of Elections on student artwork review and awards coordination.
* Help organize and facilitate educator-facing events such as prep sessions for Teachers of Distinction, volunteer orientations, and feedback or learning sessions for program stakeholders.
* Work in partnership with the Chief Financial Officer to oversee grant administration, fund disbursement, and required financial documentation.
* Support the Development team in highlighting educator impact through storytelling and ensuring visibility for programs supported by grants and sponsorships.
* Provide timely outcome data, KPIs, and success metrics to fulfill internal and external reporting needs, including grant reports and board updates. Track key indicators such as participation rates, school representation, grant funding percentages, and educator/volunteer satisfaction.
* To support program scalability and operational efficiency, update program tools and resources, including annual calendars, application rubrics, volunteer materials, and documentation processes.
* Lead the annual year-end evaluation process for Educator Programs, using program data and feedback from educators, volunteers, and partners to guide improvements and inform planning for the upcoming fiscal year.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and public speaking.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
* Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively and quickly in a fast-paced environment
* Skilled in analyzing information, solving problems, and making data-informed decisions.
* Demonstrated leadership and facilitation abilities, with experience leading meetings or presenting to small and large groups.
* Technologically proficient, including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
* Committed to continuous improvement and staying informed about local education and community issues.
* Comfortable working with diverse sectors of the community and able to build strong, trusting relationships across stakeholder groups.

Education and Experience:

* Undergraduate degree required, ideally with some education and/or nonprofit management background.
* At least five years’ related experience required.
* Experience working in or with K-12 public school systems, preferred.
* Experience with grant management, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

* Must have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the position.
* Must have the ability to travel to different sites.
