PpHybrid initial 6 Month Contract (Extendable)br/Based out of Genoa or Milan (Requires regular visits to client office)br/Starting ASAP /p pWe are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Solution Architect to lead the technical design and execution of an SAP ECC to S / 4HANA conversion. /p pThe role requires deep hands‑on expertise across SAP technical components, strong architectural decision‑making skills, and close collaboration with functional, basis, and business stakeholders. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liArchitecture Technical Leadership: Define the end‑to‑end technical architecture for ECC to S / 4HANA conversion, lead technical strategy decisions, and act as the single point of accountability for all SAP technical topics. /li liS / 4HANA Conversion Activities: Drive Readiness Check 2.0, Simplification Item analysis, and CVI preparation; oversee SPAU / SPDD, custom code remediation, and support conversion cycles. /li liCustom Code Development: Review and optimize custom developments (ABAP, OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP), ensure compliance with S / 4HANA compatibility, define development standards and code governance. /li liIntegration Interfaces: Assess and redesign interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, OData, SOAP, APIs, PI / PO, CPI; support migration from legacy interfaces to SAP Integration Suite where applicable. /li liData Migration Technical Objects: Provide technical oversight for data migration, coordinate with functional teams on data consistency, and ensure archiving and performance optimization. /li liBasis Infrastructure Collaboration: Work closely with SAP Basis on SUM, SPAM, kernel upgrades, HANA sizing, and system performance; support cloud or hyperscale environments (Azure / AWS / GCP) if applicable. /li liTesting, Cutover Go‑Live: Support technical aspects of Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Mock Cutovers; define and execute technical cutover plans and go‑live readiness checks; provide hyper‑care support post go‑live. /li liGovernance Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Functional Leads, Project Managers, and SAP Basis; provide technical risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and support audit, security, and compliance requirements. /li /ul h3Required Skills Experience /h3 ul li10+ years of SAP technical experience (ABAP + SAP Basis exposure). /li liStrong hands‑on experience in ECC to S / 4HANA Conversion projects. /li liExpertise in ABAP, OO ABAP, CDS, AMDP, and S / 4HANA data model. /li liExperience with SPAU / SPDD, ATC, SUM, CVI, and Simplification Items. /li liStrong knowledge of SAP HANA database concepts. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
