The European organization plays a strategic role, serving a highly demanding and sophisticated market. /ppbr/ppTo support its growth, we are looking for a stronghighly technical and customer-oriented professional /strong who can bridge engineering, product management, and the end customer. /ppbr/ppAs strongApplication Engineer – Europe /strong, you will be the central link between: /pulliEngineering teams at global headquarters /liliThe European RD Center /liliEuropean product management and marketing /liliDealer network and end customers /li /ulpbr/ppYour mission is to engineer optimal strongmachine–attachment solutions /strong that solve customer challenges, enhance machine versatility, and support sales growth across Europe. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliAnalyze customer application requirements (demolition, recycling, landscaping, material handling, etc.) and recommend the best machine–attachment combinations. /liliPerform hydraulic system calculations (flow, pressure, peak power) to ensure compatibility with various attachments (breakers, grapples, augers, tilt rotators, etc.). /liliCreate and manage technical documentation: hydraulic interface specifications, mounting bracket concepts (in collaboration with design teams), installation guidelines. /liliLead validation and testing of machine–attachment combinations, ensuring performance, safety and reliability meet European regulations and customer expectations. /liliAct as the highest-level technical reference for the European dealer network and key end-users on attachment integration, troubleshooting and optimization. /liliDevelop and deliver technical training programs for internal sales teams and dealer sales/service personnel. /liliProvide on-site support for complex installations and critical field issues when required. /liliRepresent the strong“Voice of the European Customer” /strong within Product Management and RD during the product development process. /liliResearch and analyze European market trends, competitor solutions and emerging attachment technologies. /liliProvide structured feedback and requirements to influence future hydraulic system design and control software (e.g. programmable flow settings) for excavators, wheel loaders and skid steer loaders. /liliSupport the sales team on key account projects, providing technical expertise to secure major deals. /liliContribute to application stories, case studies and technical sales materials (videos, datasheets, configurator inputs). /liliRepresent the company at major European trade fairs (e.g. Bauma, Intermat), conducting technical demonstrations and customer consultations. /liliAnnual travel to the company’s global headquarters (approx. 2–3 months per year) for technical alignment and training. /liliRegular travel within Europe and the UK (up to 50%) for customer visits, field data collection and local market support. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongQualifications Skills /strong /pulliBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or related field. /liliMinimum 5 years’ experience in application engineering, product support or design within construction machinery, agricultural machinery or heavy equipment. /liliStrong, practical knowledge of hydraulic systems, electro-hydraulic controls and their application in excavators, wheel loaders and skid steer loaders. /liliProven experience in integrating hydraulic attachments (e.g. hammers, shears, grapples). /liliFamiliarity with European machinery directives and technical standards (e.g. CE marking). /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills;
